The spring art crawl is coming up in just a few weeks, and I’m really excited to be participating for the first time. One of the reasons I was so excited to get an apartment in the Northern Warehouse Lofts, in Lowertown Saint Paul, was for the chance to participate in these semi-annual art parties.

This time, my good friend Cheri Johnson will be showing work with me at my place (308 Prince St, Apt. 322). We’re both writers (and editors) by training and trade who make art as a way to use our hands, see the world in a different way, and escape large blocks of text. We both seem to be drawn to brevity, simplicity, and open space.
