I’ve alluded to this story and also linked to this video before, but with my first blog post I wanted to highlight my debt to William Kentridge for his Six Drawing Lessons.  If I hadn’t come across these and watched them when I did, just when I was coming to understand how different things were going to be now that COVID-19 had landed on our shores, then The Corona Lectures and the Simple Machine probably wouldn’t exist.
